Somewhere in china there is a factory extruding these giant wreaths from a vat of petrochemicals. They sailed across the ocean, got bought by the posh air-conditioned health club next door to my office, and after gracing its entryway for the holiday season, were dumped here. On tuesday they will be driven to a landfill in Milpetas, where they will spend the next ten thousand years.
